Saturday: We are on the road! Covering Turves, Thorney, Coates & Eastrea
We will be at each location once a month with updates on our Facebook page. Donation pot if you’d like to help towards utility costs (mandatory for on the road).
Anyone can access this food! It’s free! If you can use it, take it!
Find us in the car park of The Falcon Hotel: 1 London St, Whittlesey, Peterborough PE7 1BH
Since opening in 2018 we have prevented 51.11 tonnes of perfectly edible food waste (and flowers) from going to landfill!
Any packaging that comes through our doors gets recycled as much as possible – plastic goes in a bag and taken to the supermarkets and any carboard goes in the recycling bin. Any unnecessarily packaged items such as bananas have the packaging removed before the Pantry opens, meaning there’s less waste to take home!
Keep up to date on social media

What have you made from food from the pantry? Use hashtags #fillingbelliesnotbins#thepantrycookbook to share food ideas from what you have taken and made from the food. Together we can create an online cookbook
We are pleased to be able to supply local good causes with snacks and buffet food, saving them from dipping into essential funds and reducing their outgoing costs.
Whittlesey Community Pantry won the 2024 Pride of Fenland Awards: Community group of the year!
Thank you to everyone who nominated us and to everyone who has helped to make the project become the success that it is – it wouldn’t be the success it is without you!
